Online Maps Mash-Up Examples
The following list of mash-ups reprent a variety of applications using a variety of data sources in an online map application.  I recently took down a couple of the examples because the services I was pulling from have gone off line or otherwise are unavailable.Most of the maps here are using the Google API, but check back as more APIs are added. Feel Free to copy code and share the wealth!

Dual Linked Maps – V3 – Two linked maps. What happens on map A, happens on map B. Great for comparing locations over time and now in V3!

Toggle Different WMS Layers-V3 – This simple tool allows the users to view different WMS layers in the same application. Now in Google Maps V3!

Transparency Slider with WMS layer – Beta – Code adapted from Klokan Petr Pridal website and modified to work with WMS data.

Fat Massachusetts – Google Maps V3 KML and Google Docs Mash-Up displaying the spatial results of a recent Massachusetts Department of Public Health study on the obesity rates of a number of Massachusetts school districts.

Massachusetts 2010 Town-by-Town Census Results – A dual map Google mash-up that displays the 2010 Census results in one map and 2000-2010 percent change in the other map.

Google Fusion in Google Maps – A simple mash-up taking 2010 US census values for Massachusetts’ towns stored in Google Fusion and visualized in Google Maps.

Mapping public data in Google Maps – Another simple mash-up using public data from Somerville, MA displaying where in the city tax liens exist.  Demonstrates the ease of taking geo-based data and visualizing it.
